Best. Movie. Ever.
I love Slumdog Millionaire. It's my favourite movie ever and I'll probably love it until I die. Or I turn into a vampire, then I'll love it for eternity. But that would never happen. Damn. Anyways Slumdog Millionaire has a really good reason to win eight Oscars. It's very sweet. The storyline is pure genius. And I love the soundtrack.
Slumdog Millionaire is about an Indian boy from the slums, called Jamal Malik (Dev Patel), who goes on a Hindi version of 'Who wants to be a Millionaire' and basicaly he gets every question right so he gets arrested and is 'interrogated' because the police believe he cheated. Gasp.
Then he explains how his life, from his childhood to now, gave the clues to the answers on the show. He doesn't know how the questions tied into his life. They just did. Then he explains how this one girl, Latika, watches the show. 'She's my destiny' he said. Sigh. And that's all I can tell you. I probably said too much.
Just buy the DVD. (The DVD cover looks weird. That's my only criticsm of the film)
